Sony NEX 5R FPV set up help

Can anybody help suggest how to hook up the new sony NEX 5R HDMI out to a Fatshark TX? Also I got IR LED to use as the trigger and plugged into my empty landing gear slot on my Spektrum AR7600 but cannot control how often the camera takes pictures. The camera takes a picture every second and if I flip the landing gear switch on my DX7S the other way it switches to video mode and starts to record. HELP!

Hi Waterboy,
I may be able to help with the first part of your query, you need an hdmi to AV converter or something similar to get standard def. signal that the Tx can transmit.
A quick ebay search had this:

but be careful, there's a ton of composite to hdmi converters that I think would not work...

Dont know if I understand your question, but I use a 3 poit switch on my tx like this:

0 - Start video recording(Remember to switch back to "1" after it has started, else the video will stop after xx seconds)
1 - Neutral
2 - Take picture (Takes one picture every xx second till you switch back to "1")

Seems like you got it set up the same way, so it sounds good to me.

you will have to make a coax to servo plug adapter. lemme know if you need any little parts made....

I haven't tried it yet, I am waiting on one more wire to get in that will connect the hdmi converter to the Fat Shark TX. Will let you know how it works once I give it a try.
