Hoverfly Sometimes Sport Board Won't Arm

I've got a quad that has a sport board in it. A couple of times now when I try to arm it, the board does the first beep then starts flashing purple. I looked in the manual but didn't see what kind of error this could be. I replaced it with another sport board and it's worked perfectly.

Anyone know what blinking purple after trying the radio arming sequence means? Is my sport board dying?

Make sure your throttle radio end points are at the very top and bottom of the range in the setup client. I had a similar problem with HFP - and that seemed to fix the problem.

Hmmm good thought. I wonder if the old firmware on the sport board supports the endpoint adjustments? I don't know if I want to install an old setup client to find out... hehe

Thanks though, I'll check into that.

the end points are controlled from your radio - the results of the adjustments to your radio are evident in the setup client

ie, if you drop your throttle channel endpoint a couple clicks and it stops happening then you fixed it

These things need a way to calibrate to radio to them.... these hf boards got some weird stuff going on even with suggested components, matter of fact only with the parts they recomend.

I had this happen the other day. The problem turned out to be the gain channel was reversed. Once I switched it, it worked fine. Same symptoms as you.

hmmm...well I plopped in another sport board that I have and it fixed the problem as well. to be honest I really don't want to install the old setup client. I wish HF would just update the sport board all ready.
