Can you tell me what is involved in the installation on a T960? I have a couple questions:
- I have heard that the outer holes do not match up and some people are drilling out the holes from the original landing gear. This does not seem wise to me.
- Are the optional Damping seats a solutions? Will they work with the T960, or are they designed to only work with the X8?
- Would I need to completely disassemble the top and bottom plates to install this gear?

I did not know about part number TL8X007. I'll check that out. Thanks for that information.

The question I have now is - since the inside holes are so close together (20mm), if I drill holes in my bottom plate, won't I be drilling into the boom as well? Or do I need to remove the boom first? And even if I could somehow drill the holes without putting a hole in the boom, how would I fasten the screw? Seems to me that I will need to remove the boom no matter what. Is that correct? And if it is, is there a way to remove the boom without completely removing the upper plate?

Update: I just checked out TL8X007, and I'm not sure how this would help me. It only accepts a 12mm tube and the boom is 25mm. How does that assist in mounting this landing gear? Could you describe how this part should be installed?

my English is bad ， I'm not sure that you can understanding ， firstly， about the 960 frame ，if install the landing gear ，the parts of TL96014 Damper is short ， so need the longer than it and hang the 12mm tube ，secondly ，about make the holes ， i think you are need to remove the boom and plate ， it's make the holes on the under plate ， if not to do it ，how would you do it ？you are need to measure the size of the holes then to make it 。
