I like the Sticky suggestion. The Gouge that has been posted is both a open posting option as well as a hosted option. If you are going to split the DJI Thread, then I would propose Naza with and without GPS, WKM, S800 and Z15. Subcategories could be the Data Link, the Vtx/OSD and eventually the Ruling.

And how about a subset for frames with the red arms forward, and one with red arms toward the rear.

Oh yeah...please correct the spelling of hobby.

I'm all for dividing/organizing discussion topics in a way that makes locating material more intuitive. My only hesitation is the label "Professional". The deifinition of a professional has been the subject of much debate within many disciplines. One almost universal conclusion is that professionalism is not defined by the cost or capabilities of equipment, but rather by the capabilities of the individual creating the product. A true professional could create stunning productions with very limited equipment, having the experience and skills needed to maximize the technical and artistic potential of the tools at hand. On the other hand I guarantee that giving me control of a 14K rig will not produce a professional product.

Dividing discussion by equipment types is fine, but we need to understand that profesionals and those hoping to achieve that level will exist in all of the topic divisions.

In the world of photography, the term "professional" or "pro" is generally accepted to mean someone who makes a living at photography. Don't see why that definition couldn't apply here.

I agree Jack, and that definition would be acceptable. My point is that in the world of photography it is the work, not the equipment that defines how much bread will be on the table. There are a couple of very wealthy photographers who shot only Polaroids. Perhaps we should divide the DJI forum by the sophistication of the equipment discussed, but there can be professional applications from all levels.

My suggestion is whatever is done, it should not be subjective. The Pro vs. Hobby distinction would be. A hardware breakdown would make more sense to me, and would be more definitive.
