Heavy Lifter
My personal copter has evolved over the last year or so into a reliable, stable and capable platform. But I've decided to sell it and buy an ALTA because a) I no longer have the time to maintain and experiment with it b) I need the portability of the ALTA and c) I need the space in my shop.

In a nutshell, the copter is based on a Cinestar 8 frame, with many upgrades (aluminum boom clamps, better LEDs for orientation, outrigger battery trays for dual LiPos, etc.).
As for the rest of the package...
  • Mikrokopter GPS 2 (plus 1 spare)
  • Mikrokopter Navi Control 2 (plus 1 spare)
  • Mikrokopter External Compass
  • Mikrokopter Flight Control 2.5
  • Mikrokopter Double Quadro 2XL "Cool" Power Distro Board
  • Graupner mx20 transmitter and GR24 receiver
  • 8 KDE 4012-400X motors (plus 2 spares)
  • 8 T-Motor 16" CF props (plus 2-4 spares)
  • 4 Pulse 10000 mAh 6S LiPos (2 in perfect condition, 2 in flyable but not optimal condition...I use them for 6-8 minute test flights)
  • Numerous spare landing gears, booms, clamps and other spare parts
  • Does not include FPV components shown in these photos
The copter flies beautifully, has plenty of power to manage a MōVI (or similar) gimbal with cameras up to the largest DSLRs with flight times of 10-20 minutes with the 10000 batteries. I regularly fly my GH4 and 5D Mark III bodies with lenses such as the 16-35 2.8 with no problem. I have not flown larger cameras such as REDs, but it would probably do just fine, although flight times might be in the 5-6 minute range.

Included in your purchase price is a day of training and familiarization, as well as telephone tech support.

I can disassemble and ship the copter anywhere, but I would prefer you come to me for training. Or you could fly me and the copter to you. Your call. I'm based in the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California.

Price is $4500 and shipping is on you. I can take credit card, Paypal or wire transfer.

Here are some photos of the copter at work. To be clear, the MōVI is not included in this sale.

That's a nice rig. I'm in a similar boat, and while the Alta looks spectacular, I wouldn't have the time to fly it either :(. Best of luck!
