Tau Labs Playing simple camera stuff with my Hex

I have been into Photosynths for a while and have made a quick one with a Canon Ixus 105/107 running CHDK and the standard script.

This may or may not work as an embedded synth, I guess depending if you have silverlight installed or not.

Its the point clouds that seem like magic to me. Heres one for those not knowing what that means, you can make a 3D model using a process called structure from motion.

Really interesting. That point cloud is fantastic. Structure from motion, that sounds bloody complicated. I'm still learning with synth exporter and meshlab...... fruit based machines, lol.

No its just the generic term for the whole thing, structure from motion. Its about to get easier still as point clouds from video roll out. Its an exciting technology.

That is really cool................ quite amazing programme. Must explore this with a view to trying this, came across it a while ago from a KAP'er who was into it.

Great example there, Gary...........
