I had a great idea with my hex copter. I found an old hula hoop of my daughters and said hmmmmm a few stick of carbon rod and a bunch of led's and we got a ufo.
Its a bit heavy i would love to make the ring out of a carbon fiber setup but not sure where to get carbon fiber hoop.
I had to go up to 10x4.7 props to left the extra weight of the lights the hoop the MP3 player and speakers system
yep it has sound. I don't have video of the sound yet but its coming. I flew it about 3 times so far with the sound and about 10 times with the light system getting used to it. The LED's on the ring are RGB Led's and I using a star controller to control the lights. I have 9 built in programs and can change colors supposed to be 1.4 million color led's not sure about that I haven't counted them.
Its a HK550 aka copy of the DJI flying wheel how much is too much on weight you guys think? Motors get pretty warm at 4 min of flight battery 3,000 mah 25c is hot at 4.30 and out of juice. I need a bigger battery I think. I put 2 3000's in parallel and it worked much better but of course thats more weight. I am thinking of getting some 4,000 40c's
