Mikrokopter Nav Control/Mag 3 shielding

In my research while rebuilding my ADX I have founs a reference to sheilding the Nav /Mag3 from electromagnetic interference from the FC and the BL's.

One test showed a compass spinning when the motors where speeded up and the others is Sandors aluminium plate solution between the FC and Nave board.. Just wondered what peoples views are

aluminium plate? Wouldn't have any effect at all, surely?

Google "EMI shielding" - the loony brigade have EMF shielding fabric (for making EMI-shielding clothing and for use as wall paper so the Martians can't get you - really!)
