My First MultiCopter Build

I am in the process of gathering info. to build my first MultiRotor. Below is the list I have compiled and hope to order the equipment soon. I know I will have lots of questions but I promise I will search so not to ask the same questions I am sure others have ask. I did introduce myself in the area of the forums and look forward in learning about MultiCopter. I am not new to R/C as I use to fly gliders and built many Hydro boats.

My Potential Build:
Tarot 650 Pro
NAZA M V2 with GPS
Tiger Navigators MN3508 380KV

[FONT=&amp]Weight the best I can figure is just under 2000g based on a single 5000mah battery, but again I am a little clueless on the batteries I should be looking at. [/FONT]

You could run that at 6S and easily carry a couple of 5000mAh batteries. You are close to my config with that - have a look here: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?22168-Dual-Mode-(Hopefully)-Tarot-Ironman-650-Build

I'm getting just over 20mins on 2x 5200mAh 6S with 14" props, and over 30 mins on 2x 10000mAh 4S with 17" props. It's a nice setup. Take a look at the Multistar batteries from Hobby King - lot's of capacity for the weight and plenty of current delivery for your setup.

Thanks for the reply. I am so new to this so bare with me if I ask some not so smart questions. After reading your thread it helped on the batteries. I hope you don't mind if I PM you. Been reading lots articles and been watching lots of videos on radio, gps, FC programming.

Go for it - or just post in my build thread. Build treads are great for learning (that's how I did it!) so it's good to keep Q&A there so others can read it too.
