Was doing an fpv flight today using my 7" monitor, and as usual I was wishing for a larger monitor.

Anybody know of a 12vdc monitor, about 13" that displays static, no blue or black screens when signal is lost?

so the trick is if you use a cctv type dvr it makes the firmware for that part not blacking out happen at which point they all work. ie

makes em all with a/v inputs compatible. downside, that thing is a little pig. small, but bnc then rca then a cable. I tore mine out of the case and soldered the wires to it

naxa brand like these are all 3 cell lipo ready

i had the 720p and the 1080p my 1080p monitor was gloss, and the 720 was matte. i think thats the differences and i'd pay more for the 720 cause your in 640x480 with any fpv rx so the overall res isn't too important. the right screen is the $113 16" for sure is glossy, and the 22" with dvd is matte, for sure.
