Hi Guys
I am building a wookong X650 and after spotting Geoffs layout on his X650 i decided to start again, but i have a small problem, i have a spektrum ar600 receiver, can anyone please tell me how many servo wires i need and where each one goes to on the main controller? In particular aux1 and gear from the rx.

I have it all wired up how i think its supposed to be but i dont get anything from the motors when its connected to the Wookong software (Step 2 on motor mixer)

Just replied to your text , You wont get motor action when plugged into the software .
Also first checks with props off , and check things like motor arming , Set correct voltage as the low battery warning is too premature so need to adjust that .
Check in Tx calibration that all flight modes are lit up , Manual , Atti , Gps .. Although Flying in manual is not advised

You will get there in the end and the end result will make it all worthwhile.

Im having one of those days (Weeks) when nothing makes sence, how do i check the rotation of the props? (Part 2/2)
The voltage bit is baffling no load, loss and loaded??
No flight modes are lit up, assuming you mean control mode switch section at the bottom of the window? (if i flick the gear switch on my dx8 it goes from gps to manual)

you need to use end points and subtrim to get GPS/ATT and manual to turn blue when you flick the switch to the relevant position.. if they dont turn blue when you change positions she will not fly.. As for motor rotation check the manual for correct rotation of each motor for your config.. then with the props off spin up the motors up and see if they are correct.. if not just swap two of the motor connectors round and the motors will spin in the opposite direction..

I tried everything, i think gps and M lit up but i cant remember now? I like a challenge but this has had me baffled for days, im sure ive tried everything but i still cant get any life out of her.
Geoff has said he will have a look to see what the problem is so she is all boxed up to be posted away tomorrow morning

got my quad back from geoff at quadcopters.co.uk today, he kindly set up my quad as i was totally stuck, massive THANKYOU!!!
charged up the battery and gingerly ventured outside in the dark, OMG what a difference there is between the x650 fc and the wkm, so smooth, immediately it felt more stable to the point i walked down the road with it to the grass, flew around flicking the gps switch to try it on a safe area, walked back up the road and stopped to speak to my neighbour, my quad just sat there hovering without doing anything for nearly 5 mins then started flashing red and slowly landed, cant wait to charge it and try again.
Anyone thinking of upgrading to the WKM, you wont regret it!
