My personal thoughts are that if you already have MFT glass then it is still going to be a better match up. It is probably also a lot lighter than using Canon's monstrous glass in addition to the adapter. But for guys like me that have a good assortment of EF glass and didn't make the plunge to MFT but want a more well rounded camera, this is definitely the missing link.

What do you use on your RED's?

My gimbal op has a full set of them rokinon cine primes and he just got gh4 and he wants this adapter. We tried flying his glass on adapters before and it wasn't worth it. i have the same stuff just not the full 8-100mm kinda selection.

Yeah, I had a big grin when I put my 35-105 f/4 and I could use it at f2.8. I think I'll go nuts tomorrow shooting some 4K with the Canon lenses and see how it looks.

I'm buried trying to catch up from almost three weeks on the road, BUT I couldn't wait anymore so I put my Tokina 11-16 f2.8 on the GH4 and it became a ~17-25 f2.0! I really like this lens, its really sharp and I used it a lot on my 7D but couldn't use it on my 5D3, its brighter and appears to be just as sharp on the GH4 as it was on my 7D.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to shoot with it in the next couple of days but so far this adapter looks pretty cool.
