Fly,crash,glue,repeat!
I,m not to far from there, might have a trip down with a beachcaster;)

"“routine training exercise”" mr ar5e!

"Those involved in the expensive mishap were “given advice” – police jargon for a dressing-down." More likely to have had a good laugh before getting back on the ale.

£13k for that,no wonder this country is in sh!t.

Where are the training exercise dates posted up?

People should show up with RFI laser pointers and a picnic basket.

Gunter, If you were a true patriot (and free-marketeer) you'd be at the precinct offices explaining your virtues so they could "privatize" the operation of all unmanned aerial vehicles.

Bart, believe me, this country is so full of political correctness, red tape and beaurocracy, it would take me until my retirement to pull something like that off...this is the place where a local council cancelled a kids egg and spoon race, because they didn't have the necessary indemnity insurance. :) :) :)
