linking from offsite

when i try to post a link to a post here on this site in another forum(RCU), it gets to this site, but gives a post not found error as below:

Do you have the link on RCU where I can see the link you posted there and test directly?

The short link you have up there is just the visual version of the link on rcu. vbulletin shortens it only for appearance but the underlying link is intact which you can see if you mouseover my link there and look at the url address.

Try posting again over there. If still problems post the link to the thread over there you have issues with

did a fresh copy and paste from here and it worked this morning.
