Is my motor/esc combo OK for S500?

HERE'S THE CHART:

The left is Batt voltage and these motors can be used with 3S or 4S packs.
Next is the recommended prop sizes.
Top is for use with 3S packs either a 10-3.8 prop or a 11-4.7 prop.
Bottom is for use with 4S packs 11-4.7

The next row is the current draw of the motors with that prop. Even though the rows are not equal, you can assume the first position is at low throttle and the last position is wide open throttle. For multi rotors, when you pick a motor you must know the all of weight of your rig (with batts and all) and then select a motor prop combo that will lift that weight and be around 50% of that motor/prop capacity.

You can see this in the next column "Thrust" in grams. That is per motor. You have a quad so you multiple this by 4. SO.. if you were to run a 4S pack and the 11/47 props, at 50% each motor would generate 610 grams of thrust. So in total your rig should weigh around 2440 grams. (or 5.3 lbs) It's OK to be in a pocket of around 48% - 60% to have a good flying machine. Too light and the motors and esc's can get hot. To heavy and the same can happen.
SO.. before you even select a motor and prop combo you must figure out how much your rig will weigh in total (frame, esc's motors, cameras, batts, FC everything) and then pick the right motor/prop combo for the job.

Hope that helps

Sleepy C. I appreciate the explanation! I didn't understand the Current column, and honestly, I don't know what my machine weighs.
Another question, what happens when the motors/esc's get too hot?
Could you get erratic behavior like the quad diving sideways, or the throttle cutting out momentarily?
I've had those things happen and I still haven't diagnosed what could cause that.

Working on a PCB Build of this myself. Ordered all of this on recommendation from tech at ReadyMade RC:

Tiger Motor MT2212-13 - KV 980, 27.5mmm x 28mm, 55g

Multirotor HQ Prop - Carbon Composite - 10x4.5

Castle Creations QuadPack 25 ESC's
http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=505_507_517&products_id=2216

Still haven't flown it yet. Waiting on some bullet connectors and FC somewhere in the mail between here and Hong Kong. Also note that this is far from the less expensive option, but I want to build a quality version of this platform that I can trust. My other S500 is kinda thrown together with a wiring harness, etc and it has failed a couple times. This is more of a "Confidence Build" for me.
