Is it me or are parts damn near impossible to find?

Newbie here, so forgive me if I am missing something.. It seems that the vast majority of major components in xcopter builds are very difficult, if not impossible to find? I am beginning a Turnigy HAL build that I intend to use pretty specifically for video, i.e. gimbal, FPV, etc. As a result, I'm looking at 2kg overall and it seems that I can't find a single damn motor that fits this build in stock anywhere. Looking for motors in the 28-32xx range in the 800-900kV range and it seems the only thing I can find are either huge or high kV.

Any recommendations for newbs on where to source components? (other than HK, the beginner choice)

the end of the chinese new year is the begining of manufacturing and memorial weekend is the official begining of the season.... that said, that's when all the new goodies usually hit the market for the year. From here on out they slowly start trickling in

Awesome video, that is exactly what I (and probably many others here) are trying to do. Those Leopard motors look pretty good, I can actually get some decent numbers out of eCalc, vs. the random **** available on ebay/HK.

Any other good suppliers us newbs should know about, or should we expect goodies to start flowing on HK and ebay?
