immersionRc 5.8Ghz on 4S ?

Well hello there.

I recently received my FPV gear and I noticed that my immersionRc 5.8Ghz 600mW gets very hot (stock antenna). Couldn't fly with it yet so no air based cooling happened. Was a ground test.
This was on a 2200mAh 3S LiPo and my goal is to get a 4S LiPo for some more power. The immersionRc package says:

Input voltage range: 2S-6S LiPo

But won't it get too hot on a 4S?

Thanks

it stays exactly the same, there is a voltage regulator inside it on the immersion vtx. all the other brands need external regulating

the biggest things to watch on all transmitters is never turn it on without an antenna. heat, yea, that's why alot of the other brands come in heatsinks, but are heavy like that

Thanks for the quick response.

I had to uncover the heat shrink to access the channels on the vTx. Little bit weird they heat shrink that part.
