Immersion TX and 22.5v input!?

I was wondering whether you could advise me as to whether my Immersion TX will withstand being powered by 22.5v straight from the power board of an S1000 please?
I know the specs say it can take a 25v input but I’ve heard rumours that it burns it out pretty quickly!?

yep, works great...... hundreds if not thousands of flights like that under my belt. no burning up here. always make sure any transmitter never has an antenna removed while powered, never use a broken antenna
