Hi Guys

I built my quad about 3 months ago and loving it.
I'm just waiting for my FPV gear to turn up.
Its currently just a hobby and probably will never be anything more.

I'm from an RC background flying helis for 5 years and i'm a PCB design engineer, but i know very little about the photography side. (2 out of 3 isnt bad i guess.)

I've set up a facebook page to show my stuff by all means take a look. Its a bit daunting showing my stuff when i know so many Pros are on here.

Ps. I do want to improve so by all means any photography pointers would not go a miss.

Welcome to MRF. Sometimes I wish I had stayed with such a great little set up. Enjoy it and ask yourself a couple of questions before committing to bigger set ups..
1 -am I doing it for fun and do I have the shecleks to pay for it and enjoy it. If the answer is yes get cracking.
2. I am going to make money from this so Ill sell my soul to the addiction which is MR building.. STOP! and stick with your little flier!

Just my thoughts as a addictct looking for a rehab solution ;-)

I am sure you have found the site useful and you will continue get invaluable info from its great contributors.

Not sure if you have seen this but there is a meeting toward the end of september up in Lancashire.

Post here. http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?1814-UK-European-Spring-Meet-2012&p=51935#post51935

There are at least three other MR fliers in MK that are on the forum. with a bit of luck they will chip in and you may have some flying buddies locally.

Good Luck

Dave

Hi Dave

Yes the forum has been most useful while building my quad. Its kept it fun rather than a PITA.
I doubt i'll build anything bigger. I'd prefer a real good small craft and wait for cameras to get smaller lighter and better.
I think i'll play with what i have this year and learn all the do's and don'ts.

I'm really liking the look of the qav500 it looks really well thought out and addresses most of the things i dont like about my current set-up
