With 4k video being all the rage, I've seen a lot of talk about the new Sony release - the a7RII. Thought some of you pros might be interested in this.

B&H just published an article documenting the new camera, during a weekend long hands-on review.

Check out the article HERE.

I'm on the fence about this one. It's a pretty expensive camera. Batteries are really expensive (but it comes with two)

Also heavier than its sisters by quite a bit.

Although I've been dying to buy one, I'm thinking I might watch the used A7s market after this one drops ;)

I'm nowhere near buying one of these - too rich for my blood (and purposes). :)

I just thought some of you all might be interested in a hands-on impression. There is some decent hype surrounding this camera - and I find the discourse interesting, especially since this comes so close on the heels of the a7.

Let us know if you finally break down and grab one

As soon as my liver and spleen sell I'm getting one!

Problem is my liver is .. well.. well used and my spleen is not fresh.

We're braving the A7RII, haven't received it yet though. What remote shutter lead would you guys recommend getting? I've seen a few scattered about out there, but not entirely sure whats best.
