Gyro Board for Camera Gimbal

Hi all, we are nearly there with our hexa build now and should be getting some test flights in a few days, our attention now is turning to the camera gimbal, again it is something we are going to make from scratch, it will have pan, tilt and roll and be controlled by a seperate radio system and downlinked to a ground monitor. Does anyone know of a control board that might be suitable to provide gyro stabilisation only to the gimbal.

Actually thinking about it, I may be better with 3 small solid state heading hold gyros, they weigh next to nothing and the ones for 400-450 size helis are pretty small.
