Thought it was time I said hello and introduced myself, after being a longtime lurker/stalker of this forum.
Would have to say this is the most civil and helpful RC forum that I've found on the net, with lots of very knowledgeable members who happily share their secrets.

I'm another newbie to RC and one of those damn photographers looking to use these wonderful flying machines as a camera platform. Have been using a 60ft pole for elevated photos for some time, but find its use somewhat restrictive and a right pain to setup.

After lots of reading here and in other forums, took the advice to get a small quad - Gaui 330, to learn to fly and thrash, which certainly happened and am now looking to move up level to a hex machine with Naza. Will keep you posted on my progress.

Thanks to you all for creating this inspiring Multi-rotor community.

Hi Richard and welcome to Multirotor Fourm. Yep its full of really helpful people on here and we try and keep it as civilised as possible. The thing is its full of such great guys that is sort of self regulating and any one who comes in mixing it up usually finds them selves being ignored. Any how glad to see you coming out.

It wont be long before you find yourselve reading a thread and jumping in to help out..

Best Regards

Dave

Thanks Dave

I think I've still got a lot learning to do yet, before I start offering advice to others when it comes to all things multi-rotor.

Though it can be time consuming I find that answers to all of my questions so far have been answered before and it is just a matter of going through previous posts.

Thanks Mat

I live on the "Great Divide" between Auckland & the rest of New Zealand - the Bombay hills.

OT did you ever bring in any of those Ritewing Zephyr's? They look very interesting for long range fpv flights.
