Really love this forum, guys. I'm a former trial attorney turned into a forensic animator for the past 17 years. We've hired RC guys to get plates for us for projects over the years but finally decided to bring it in house. I've got a MK Quad and a Droidworx AD6HL. Getting a Y6 soon. This is an interesting little niche that we've learned to serve very well. We typically use the aerial plates or video to do a reenactment of transportation disasters. When a client contacts me I typically tell him "Wouldn't you give anything if a news helicopter was hovering over the accident site when it happened? Well, we can give you that." We use 3DS Max and Maya as our primary 3D tools with several camera tracking/matching packages to allow us to work with the footage. Life is good. Long live the multi-rotor!

Brilliant! It's always interesting to see what other people use their multis for. I bet it is quite interesting.
