Gimbal Question

Does anyone know of a gimbal for a HERO 3 type camera that will just manually move up and down and not automatically move with the copter? I just want a simple gimbal that will only move when I want to pan down to view while hovering, not something that tries to correct straight every time I pitch to copter? I want to use the side slider on my FrSky D9X to tilt up and down, and use the gimble output on my NAZA controller. I don't want something that's constantly adjusting and sucking down power from my battery all the time. Thank you in advance for replies.

I would do some research on the older H3-3D gimbal from DJI. They implemented an FPV feature that I believe locked the camera - but it may have only had this option on the Phantom???

Otherwise, you may be best served by a servo driven gimbal.

i'd agree with Scott on that one, find a one axis servo-driven gimbal and just tune it so it has zero response when flying but will still let you adjust tilt.

i think you can do this with the NAZA's gimbal controller, you just need a gimbal. XAircraft made a one axis servo driven gimbal, there are probably others, check ebay

Thank you for the responses. I found something I think will work, going to be one of those 'modification' projects.
