Gimbal distance from center of gravity?

I just got a skyEye gimbal for my f450, but it looks like th ebest place to mount it is out front. How worried should I be about having a balanced copter? Maybe I slide the battery back to compensate?

thats the general idea, we use rail systems and counter balance it to get the cg were after.
