Frame Size - 900 or 1200?

Hi guys,

I'm putting together a component list for my first aircraft built for aerial video work. I was originally planning a hex but reading on experience from people here I've decided to go for a Y6.

The question now, though, is should I go with a 900mm frame or 1200mm? I haven't calculated which motors / props I will need yet (to lift a DSLR on a 3-axis gimbal) but I have the impression a 900mm frame wouldn't be too small.

Is there any other reason than physically fitting everything in that I might want the larger frame? I'm guessing wider is more stable? Or maybe less stable in wind?

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

that is what size cinestar and skyjibs are when there ready to lift a dslr..... kinda makes it an industry standard size,,,, 1100 is a 48" frame
