The big problem I see is if you want to use long range radio gear like the EZUHF, also using 433 mHz. The other thing is there aren't any video TX that can transmit HD video streams so while you may see a somewhat better picture than with other setups it won't be true HD.

I don't see how the hd transmitters even if were available today are gonna do with static. most digital channels i'm around here on the tv are there or there not. it isn't like the old days where you could watch a show that was half static........... fpv has alot of static from time to time. might work better on MR's since they don't go very far, but none the less, a solid link is much more important than slightly clearer picture. The monitors i use now are 1080p, but they play back this stuff at 640x480, at least that's whats shown on the tv's osd when you fire it up. put it on hdmi and a directv box and it shows 1080p

I got the Flycamone HD V-Eyes and I am happy with it. Don't know how fit you are with FPV, so I explain a liitle more detailed: The 433Mhz sender is just the signal for the head-tracker (if you use the Flycamone HD 1080 camera, you can move the cameras optic by just moving your head) , but instead of the 433Mhz signal you can also use the trainer port on your transmitter to get the signal up to the camera. For video transmission you need either the 2.4Ghz or the 5.8 Ghz transmission set. The Flycamone HD V-Eyes comes with some sort of baseplate, where you hook up the receiver of your video transmission. What I really like about the Flycamone stuff is that there are various modules which are all plug and play. I have replaced the rubber duck antennas with cloverleaf antennas on end and a circular polarized antenna on my ground station.

Here is the stuff I got:

FlyCamOne HD 1080p Pro Set

I also bought from this webshop (http://www.tomica.de, you can change language on their website) and was very happy with them. If buying from Germany is a hassle for you, at least you get a lot of information here and might be able to buy it from somwhere else once you know what you want.

Thanks you guys for looking and your comments, ChrisviperM, just curious here - I guess one can use any 2.4 / 5.8Ghz system here, not necessarily the Flycamone units ?
Wondering how they would compare with the FatShark Dominators

Thanks
