One of you had this piece in hands yet ? Not sure about it but like the looks and the possiblity to check the plugs and wiring without always taking of these four screws.

Its designed as a crash cage and also for cooling in hotter climates.. They also do a super tough dome and a dome with ventilation holes in them.. My standard dome has taken a good few knocks in the last few weeks and if the standard dome can survive hitting what I did then Ill stay with that... unless I am going somewhere really hot and with a heavy lifter then I may look at the roll cage rather than the dome for the cooling rather than just stack protection

Pulling up old thread... could someone with one of these Crash Cages do me a favor and tell me the distance from opposing mount pin to mount pin in MM? I'm trying to figure out if it will fit my non-droidworx hub plates. Thanks!

Hi Dave, thanks for the info. Do you have a link to an example? I can't seem to find one. I'm in the USA, Utah to be specific.

173mm (centre to centre) or for the non metric folk, 6 3/4", is close enough.
Dont know re the new type mentioned above..
Cheers
