I'm almost finished with my Tarot T810 build http://www.maciej.se/T810.html bu have realized that It's to big end expensive to test new Arducopter functions on so I'm starting to build a new F450 http://www.maciej.se/F450new.html
The components I've bought decided on so far are:
  • F450 frame
  • T-Motor MT2814-10 KV770
  • Pixhawk clone
  • Foxtech carbon fibre 11x5.5 propellers
  • FrSky X8R rx
Need to decide which ESCc and batteries to buy, will run it on 4S. I checked the setup in ecalc and it should work pretty well, anyone here running these motors on a F450 frame?

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
that's a lot of motor for that frame, the MT 2212 motors work great with that frame

@mackar What exactly is a "Pixhawk clone?" I didn't know a clone of the Pixhawk existed. Or are you talking about some FC with the same physical form factor as the Pixhawk running Arducopter? Just wondering.

Yes that's a FC made in China that is a copy of the Pixhawk, running Arducopter.

But do you trust this thing to behave like a genuine 3DR Pixhawk??
we'll see ;-)

I know there are people using these FCs without any problems but I would never buy a FC like this for a larger multicopter, but for testing I think it's ok.
