EZUHF and EagleTree OSD

Has anyone managed to get these two working? I just bought an EZUHF system with the 8 Channel Diplex RX, but can't find a way to get the RSSI information on my EagleTree without changing out to EZOSD.

Turns out you need a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) to make this happen, at a price of $40 I think I will live without it.. lol

The EZUHF will give so much range that unless you are doing mega long range I wdon't think I would bother, I have not set it up on mine.

Pete, I was reading up on the Discovery and Core, I was not aware the core had an RSSI input already. There is solder tabs on the Disco for the input from the RX which will accept a digital or an Analog signal! I was not aware of that and elevates the need for a DAC, but I don't need most of the core display as I run the eagletree.... I think they would collide you know.

I know they have a good range on them, I was just trying to figure out how good or how far I can push this without issue, if you know what I mean.

Fully understand and most likely if I start pushing the limits I will get a bit more interested in using the RSSI feature.

For now I am only going out to 1-1.5km so has not been a worry.

Using your Disco? How long does it take you to go out that far and come back?

it all depends on how low and what your flying through, behind or near. RSSI is more important than anything else, next i want my flight pack voltage, after that it's bells and whistles. You need a mictronics type converter for the osd pro, there new eagle tree osd that also has fully integrated multirotor flight controller and 4 types of rssi inputs has it built in. It's about a year late, but i'm a big eagle tree fan of how there guardian flies and my success in long range fpv with wings. Love there stuff, osd pro was based on planes, from here on out there including multi's

That is one reason I am looking at the RSSI, I want to go with a TBS Caipirinha at some point. Will probably move over my eagletree to it as it has the stabilizer on it now, or see if I can pick up another one.
