Dropped TX, how do you test to make sure it still works properly

Recently I dropped my Spektrum DX7s on a vinyl floor. It seems to be ok but I'm having some issues with my HT FPV quad now. It worked over the weekend before I dropped the tx but now it has trouble responding to simple control stick input. I also swapped out the motors to replace some aging ones.

I'm using an OP CC3D control and AR7010 rx. Any suggestions in checking internal damage to the rx is much appreciated.

plug in cc3d and see the inputs work... this is a scary time, we had a drunk get into our area and step on then kick a radio across a green. it was too much to handle mentaly, i ordered a new one

Thanks kroner, inputs work but very erratic behavior, sort of like your drunk...Seriously though, that sucks! Lots of whack jobs out there today. I'll try running the assistant again. Just curious, do I need to recalibrate the the throttle range after installing new motors?
