maybe can i help with our knowledge for your build and i want build a x8 too your plans i think are great.
iam interested on your plans! i can also cut in carbon with cnc ...
We can also write per PM...

New update, you can call it Design "5s" :nevreness:
New location for battery that previously wasn't available. Those are 5000mah 4s size.
Holes slotted so that two straps per battery can be used to securely hold it down.
This does not affect if its a X8 or octa configuration, as the batteries are above the carbon tubes.

Acrylic center for final Prototype V1.
Full carbon fibre arms + stainless steel nuts and bolts

Level 2 and 3 not yet installed for FC and GPS.

SO now i have added the 2nd and 3rd lever for GPS and Flight controller :)

Did I miss something as I didn't see plan or location for gimbal mount?
I have not yet decided if I will build my own gimbal or use one of the ones available. First I will get the x8 flying and see if it is stable and a good setup before going further.
