Here is my first creation, the BlacK-Eye.
Most of the parts are in carbon.

that looks cool.. just need some small carbon gear :tennis: are you running 2 3s batteries on there

I run it on 3S 10000mah, the total weight with LIPO and gopro is 2kg and it can fly 22-25 minutes
The gear is in alumium and the weight is very low, if I want carbon gear I need to add screws and fixation, so it would be heavier than simple alumium.

I'm flying it with 13" prop, but the prop can be between 11 and 15"

I would assume the FC is mounted on the bottom plate close to the CG

You right, the FC is between the 2 plates, close to the CG.
The board in the front is the brushless gimbal controller (this board can also being mounted on the bottom plate)

The usual model is made in 1,5mm carbon sheet.
But for heavy load and strong frame, here is a 2mm version off the BlacK-Eye :
