Looks like that should work, I don't like the blue though. I also like that i can take the top half of the clamp off on mine.

I just used some G10, cut some slots in them for the straps, drilled some holes and zip tied it them to landing gear.

It is really convenient because you can easily adjust your C of G by sliding it forwards and backwards if need be.
