OK folks. Research ad nauseam. eCalc messed with extensively (still have the headache!). It looks like I am ready to put my proposed first build out there to see what I've done wrong and right, and what I've missed altogether....
FRAME: X650F
FC: Witespy Multiwii EZ3.0 w/GPS
ESC: Multistar 30A or the HK Blue 30A style plus spares
Motors: Turnigy D2830-11 1000/kv plus spares
Props: APC SF 10/4.5 plus spares
Battery: Turnigy 3300 3S 30C or Turnigy 4000*** 3S 30C
***Combining 2 4000mah batteries (parallel) - and despite the weight gain, it hints at decent flight time with enough payload left over to haul the stuff I'd eventually want.
1. Advice on Multistar vs HK Blue ESC???
2. I also plan on buying the Turnigy Accucel 6 with wall-wart for charging/balancing.
3. Prop balancer (wish I could use my motorcyce wheel balancing tool - but the size is MUCH different!
4. Flashing tool & USB tool
5. Various wire, power extensions, straps, connectors and spacers. Would appreciate a list of the small stuff that people often forget to order - so I can nail it in one fell swoop.
6. Onboard low voltage alarm
I think that's it.... Famous last words. Let me know what you all think. I am excited to get started, but would rather work out as many kinks as possible beforehand.
