Hi,

After I added a gimbal and landinggear to my f550 wookong. The copter has more trouble maintaining hight. I flys 4s and 8x5 graupner prop stock dji motors and escs. When i just put the copter at altitude in gps mode and let my sticks go. The copter will start to vary in altitude by 2m. And when flying forward in gps mode the copter also descents a lot. Before the added weight i didn't have this issue. I have my gains at 230 230 130 180. pls advise on how to solve this.

Ok which props should I buy taking in count that I have the stock dji motors + escs and run on 4s. The graupner 9x5 or the graupner 10x5?

I ran the 2215 dji motors, 30 amp dji esc's in the 450 with 10x5 and saw 35 amp draws max, hovered at 16-18 amps, 1600 grams, but it was the quad.

I'd get the 10x5 graupner mainly cause the 9x5 seem to be gone... can't get em anywhere i can find

What do you weigh ready to fly?

I weigh 2200 - 2300 grams ready to fly. I can get 9x5 no problem. Anyone with experiense on 4s with f550 a good suggestion.

i only run my 550 on 4s. and 9x5's runs quite well. i keep my 450 on 10x5's and 3s and 1250kv's and it flies like a champ.

I thought that you could only use dji props with their motors? Do others fit? DJI do 10" props which probably would work better.
