I've had this issue since setting up my XM-6.
I'm running a 3.5kg XM-6 which includes AV130 gimbal, 2x 5000 4s batteries (35c) and 6x 30A Plush. I'm running MT2814-11 (770kv) Tigers.
I've been getting about 6 mins flight, then all of a sudden, I start losing some control. Its to too critical, I can usually land, or it lands itself, but its not due to low voltage.
I have a power management unit that feeds via datalink to me GCS. I'm hovering at about 53 to 58Amps. I'm getting a 1st warning alert at 7 mins of flight (after I land and wait a few mins, I take off and flies great again).
My ESC's are roasting hot, and I think I'm getting auto soft cut off at max temp.
I've tried 11, 12 and 13 inch props from 3.8 to 5 pitch, and nothing helps.
ESC's have red wires removed so the BEC's are not contributing to the heat.
Should I lower the timing of these speedies? The weight isnt an issue, all the sums are correct on the eCalc, and even the telemetry is showing voltage and amps are good.
Do I go 40 ot 45amps ESC's?
If you need to know anymore, ask. Please can anyone help, I want 10mins per flight, then a battery swapover and go again (6 times over - 12 batteries).
