Today was my test flight everything went ok just need to do some tuning. Is it necessary to cut the red wire from the esc I know the manual says do it.

Don't cut them - just pull the red pin out. That way you can put it back in if you need to program the esc in the future.

you only have to pull the red wire if your using esc's that have a bec in them. the stock dji opto esc's dont have one so don't need to be done, but it still works if ya did.

DJI should pay an american to make them instructions. That'd set em appart cause the way it is now really sucks, like any cheap chinese product the way none of it makes since.
