2.4GHz Rx antenna placement (TBS Disco)

I've been flying a few different machines over the last couple of months and have learned quite a bit. One thing that is not fully clear is the placement of the Rx antenna wires. The other day I noticed an inch of one of the wires off the Futaba Rx is gone. Likely a prop trimming. I guess I need to figure out how to fix that, but in the mean time I thought I should learn what the best antenna placement / positioning is.

On my first quad I used some photos as reference and antenna tubes to make a little rig that had one of the antennas pointing straight out the back and the other 90 degrees from it pointing straight down. With the TBS Disco my ground clearance is to low for this. A lot of people are using the UHF, but for 2.4GHz what is the best way to mount the antennas?

i only did one 2.4 rc but i did back and up and it worked great. a v out the back would work goodlike rabit ears but horizontal plane, like your radio antenna lays
