Here's the maiden FPV flight of my QAV500. This is my first multirotor video. I built a DJI F550 w/Naza last year but was never really happy with the results (jello etc) The QAV w/CC3D is awesome, and I'm really excited with how it all turned out. Enjoy!

The arms on the QAV are aluminium. Easily bent in a crash, but they can be repaired by bashing them with a rubber mallot. Thanks!

I used the DOF plugin for adobe after effects. Just trying something different, having fun along the way :) We do get to see things from a perspective that most don't get a chance! Love it! Thanks for the comments

I've pre-ordered. My Hero 1 is going as strong as the day I got it, and with those specs I couldn't resist the GPH3. The higher 60fps @ 1080p should deal with the jello effect a little better too.

Did you find the problem with this? Was it just a bad servo?

Just in the process of setting up my aeroxcraft gopro gimbal powered by CC 10A BEC @ 6V. A very simple question. Has anyone tried running the recommended Futaba S3156 servos at 400Mhz frequency on the Naza gimbal control? Is this too high for them? I wanna try it but don't want to burn them out...

I've just finished building my F550 with the motors shown in hand (red lettering on stickers) and it's flying perfectly. Having said that I have less than 2 hours flight time, but this kinda makes me worry. Des, did you have problems from the start, or did the motors all of a sudden start...

^that looks sweet, exactly what I'm talking about. Why do you say don't over boil the plastic? You mean don't leave them in too long? Can't see how boiling water could hurt ABS plastic but you obviously know something I don't. :02.47-tranquillity:

About to order a F550 kit. Not a big fan of the Red/White colour scheme though :) Anyone tried dying the plastic arms with RIT dye or something similar? :pig:
