    A2 Dilemma

I am/ we are! For the past 9 -12 months we've been busy with large gov't/corporate orders, requiring a lot of hours to complete, hence my absence. At the end of the day I just want to veg and relax, not necessarily jump on the forums... :) I've got a few days until our next hyper build...

    A2 Dilemma

Been very busy lately, we really need to add more hours to the day... :) Bart, your email system alerted me to the post, works great! To answer the question, how do I find the issue.... If it's something that I've done incorrectly, I very simply go back through my setup, mechanical AND...

Is the protection switch clicked "on" when you try the calibration?

    Heavy lift batteries and chargers

I prefer using multiple batteries of smaller mah than 1 large battery. If a cell goes bad, or a pack gets damaged, I can replace that single $100 battery, vs losing the whole $4-500 large battery.. Obviously your machine has to be designed for multiple batteries... :)

Vibration- What Do You Do To Secure The Airframe And Electronics?

I see. :) Send the engine to BH Hanson for smoothing out, but it can help to tune it "in a certain way".... It's one of the things I argued about constantly on the forums, oil type, mixture, etc. I do not use any dampening on my engine mounting, and I use G10, but probably a better grade. I...

Vibration- What Do You Do To Secure The Airframe And Electronics?

Yikes Rob! I have some experience with gassers and how to mitigate the vibes you speak of. Give me a holler if you'd like to discuss. While prepping your electronics is certainly a good idea, be sure to eliminate the root cause of the vibration problem.

    S900 will not arm

Being in airplane mode and not setup properly will also cause issues... And? Not sure how to make it more plain, in heli mode or airplane mode, ail, ele, yaw, and throttle, all work EXACTLY the same. If you can have a wrong setup in heli mode, you can ALSO have a wrong setup in airplane mode...

    S900 will not arm

Excellent! Glad that helped. As Ronan pointed out, sometimes it's the easy things that we miss. Sorry Ronan, just pointing out that heli Mode WILL work, will fly the aircraft just fine, with the ONLY inconvenience of losing aux 1. Just want people to be aware that heli mode is not going to...

One Transmitter can control simuntaneously a lot multirotors ????

I should add, yes it can be done, but I'm not too hopeful on the results, as AV8Chuck explained. :) definitely post video of the results...

    S900 will not arm

None of which has anything to do with the OP's issue. Also none of which have anything to do with how the aircraft flies. I'm simply pointing out that helicopter mode is certainly capable of operating the aircraft, with given cons. proper channels working? Using JR 12x and JR 9503 radios...

One Transmitter can control simuntaneously a lot multirotors ????

I believe it can be done, simply put all the receivers into bind mode at the same time, then bind the transmitter to them all at once. Some large RC aircraft use 2 or 3 receivers to operate the controls with one Tx....

    S900 will not arm

Bah, heli mode works just as well, but you lose aux 1 as a usable channel.. :) An easy way to tell if your channels are moving in the right directions, if you move BOTH sticks down and left, all 4 sliders should move left....

Naza Lite RTH fail-safe crash (maybe related to altitude hold)

The esc's may have needed programming. Typically we program the esc's for ni-cad, so that the voltage cutoff point is lower than if programmed for Li-po. There's a very good thread discussion about this on ***. according to this programming card available from HK, it is possible to change...

    SynDrones X8 Heavy Lift Build

My understanding of the system tells me that it should be able to hold altitude better than what you're describing. I hope that when you change to another FC that you let us know if you run into the same issue. As I get mine flying, I'll certainly keep this issue in mind!

F450 with Naza-M lite gps question

It should only take one flip of the switch, to atti then back to GPS, to regain control from failsafe.

How are altitude limits sensed by the DJI Naza hardware?

This altitude is based on GPS, not the baro sensor. So you should be fine.

    SynDrones X8 Heavy Lift Build

Based on what? I'm building a large X8 ATM, swinging 16X5.5, or 18X5.5 depending on what works best with 400 kv motors and 6s power.
