    Video Tx and Rx suggestions

Well for now line of sight is fine. But eventually I would love to do something up to a mile. But that's in the distant future and I may have to just buy different equipment for that with lower frequencies. So I found a decent deal on a used ImmersionRC duo v3. I'm hoping I don't regret not...

    Video Tx and Rx suggestions

I'm looking for suggestion for a Video Tx and Rx and antennas for a 650 quadcopter with go pro to aerial video. I'll be flying line of sight so I don't need it for fpv but rather just see what the the gopro is seeing. Come to think of it I'll probably need a suggestion for a monitor as well...

    One transmitter and multiple copters

Sorry if this is a stupid question but can you bind a transmitter to multiple copters? I'm assuming no, but I wanted to make sure If you can't how do you go about quickly switching from one copter to another. I have a little blade 180 and a tarot 680. While I can bind the blade fairly...

Can't get out of vertical compass calibration

Jinly, since you said you have the h3 3d gimbal as well do you mind sharing your procedure on the getting the right settings. It Servo travel limite, and automatic control gain. I have the gcu and top plate of the gimbal mounted but not plugged in yet. Anything I should know about?

    How warm should components get

I have a Nava V2 setup with 2.4ghz data link and h3 3d gimbal. Now I fully expected the ESCs and motor to get warm but it seems like most of ther components are also getting warm. The data, PMU and gcu. It's not hot by any means just above luke warm I guess. Frankly I didn't expect those 3...

Can't get out of vertical compass calibration

Yah it definitely is the MCU itself. I upgraded the firmware on the 2nd mcu and it calibrates just fine. Tried emailing DJI but still no response. I'll try calling their Los Angeles branch today. Ironic thing is I could probably drive there but on the website it says no walk-ins for this...

Can't get out of vertical compass calibration

Well I reinstalled the old MCU with the calibration problem and did a hard reset. Unfortunately you can only reset it to the current version. And it still won't calibrate. I'll give DJI a try and see if they're any help.

Can't get out of vertical compass calibration

Ok so it's either the mcu or the firmware. I bought 3 Naza m V2. 2 on ebay and 1 on craigslist. And I've never built a multirotor before, so yes I know I have a sickness. Anyways, the first one I installed and upgraded the firmware right away and did the set up. That's the one I couldn't...

I'll double check the axis values. Thought I got them right

Can't get out of vertical compass calibration

I tried that and nothing worked. Plus I'm pretty confident it's not an outside source as I have a 450 with a Naza lite and that calibrates just fine. This was my first build (I bought the 450 already assembled) and I may have gotten over ambitious as I installed a btu, h3 3d with gcu, iosd...

Can't get out of vertical compass calibration

Going through compass calibration for the first time. I get it to go from orange/yellow to green when holding the copter horizontally and spinning 360 degrees but when I go to the next step and hold it vertically while spinning 360, all I get is getting dizzy, the green light won't turn off...

Finding Center of Gravity on Z-axis

Setting up Naza V2 software and I need to find the center of gravity along the z-axis to properly set up the gps. Thex x and y are easy since I placed the battery such that the center of the craft is the center of gravity. But how do you find it in the z-axis. I saw a vid of someone basically...

    DX8 switch assignments

Thanks for the reply. I got that part. What I don't understand is what a few of the switches correspond to on the Switch select menu because they don't match with anything on the remote. Namely the Trainer, L Trim and R Trim. So if I wanted to say assign one of those switches to say IOC or...

    DX8 switch assignments

Forgive me for the stupid questions but I'm having trouble understanding the switch asignments for my DX8. Below are pics of the Switch select menu and a pic of the entire DX8 from manual. I'm confused on the naming of the certain switches. Reading the switch select menu. What is Trainer...

Connecting servo wires to FC and Receiver

I'm a litle confused then. According to the DJI wiki page the signal looks to be the top pin? http://wiki.dji.com/en/index.php/Naza-M_MC_%26_GPS_Mounting

Connecting servo wires to FC and Receiver

I have a Naza V2 flight controller and a Spektrum AR8000 receiver. The servo wires are brown, red, orange. How do I know which way to connect them to both the fc and receiver? ie Which color is on top? Do all flight controllers and receivers orient the pin location the same way? Meaning is...
