have you ever used xt60 connectors? They are very secure and solid... I think its best to not attach to the body because they are a tight fit and you need to wiggle them to remove... Because they are shorter too than the EC5s they are stronger and hopefully wont give up at the solder joints so fast.

I used XT60 connectors... I had to make my own parallel connector to run two batteries together.

Im using the standard 30A opto ESCs and the standard 4114kv motors. It flies great and very very smooth. The Naza V2 works perfectly on it too...

So i've finally recieved my Tarot T810 after waiting weeks for it to be shipped from China... So far the build has been fiddly but easy enough... Now the wiring and motor attachments will take alot longer!

My iPad air is wifi only and is fine. The only thing to bear in mind is that you load the app with your wifi at home first so the app can cache the maps for where you are going to fly... Or can use an iPhone in the field by tethering but don't forget to turn off wifi!!!! IT CAN CAUSE INTERFERENCE!!!

did yours come with a power distribution board? Im not sure if i need to order one? The doesn't seem to be much room to install all the gaza parts inside like you can on the f550 because of all the moving arms...

I've reached the same point with my F550 and I've chosen a Tarot t810. I've not received it yet but it looks to be a tricky build! Looks a nice big/steady frame and love the ability to fold up.

Glad all was ok!!! We've all done it... And as I said the fright is bad enough but usually recoverable! I've outgrown my f550 so moving all my kit onto a tarot t810 soon! Would want that dropping out the sky! Just goes ores to show the benefits of these forums :)

I was thinking about upgrading to an s800 but i've seen so much said about "death rolls" and problems that I'm wondering if there's a problem with model? Maybe the problem lies with the wookong or A2? I had planned to take my naza and all parts out of my f550 to build the s800 so maybe that...

So Im already thinking of moving from an F550 and probably looking at an S800... The S1000 seems a little too expensive and a bit larger. More than I would need. But the S800 looks about right. So Im wondering (to keep the costs down) if I could use my NAZA MV2 from my current rig in the S800...
