I have a SkyJib 8 with 4120, 2x Zippy 8000 (6s) batteries, 15x7 Xoar, 360 gimbal and GH3 for a total TTW of 9.5kg
If this was yours, how far down would you normally fly each cell's voltage?
I just completed my longest flight of 9 minutes yesterday and ended up (right at shutdown) with 23% on...
My Bad, I should have mentioned that I'm using a pair of 6s 8000mAh with 15x7 Xoar props.
So if I let them get down to 3.5 and land within the minute I should be fine, assuming no excessive throttling?
Hey ATFlyer,
Gotta ask...
I have a SkyJib 8 v1, AXI 4120s, a pair of Zippy 8000mAh and a GH3 mounted on a 360 gimbal with radian. It's all coming in around 22lbs (10kg).
My last flight was around 4 minutes and I was down from 4.19(ish) to 3.8(ish), per cell. It was about 9C outside.
How in...
Very nice. (http://www.allieddrones.com/)
My small loan should be approved this week so I'll be able to order it soon :-)
I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Thanks
My SkyJib 8 (v1) is now flying and I'm just finishing the setup of my Cinestar 360 Gimbal with the 3-Axis Radian. I now need to connect the two.
Anyone out there with this combination and if so, how did you connect the two?
TIA
Rick
Good point!
Maiden flight coming up this Saturday...scared s#$tless :-]
Anyone have a checklist of items to double check before flight (ESC, Wookong-m, AR8000, DX8, cut-off voltage, GPS/Manual/Failsafe, etc.)?
TIA
I got it working by using the transmitter to program the ESC, throttle calibration that is.
Its the first 4 beeps you hear when everything is powered up.
Your correct Patrick, I had to plug the ESC into the receiver, one at a time.
With the stick at maximum I then powered up the ESC/motor and...
I am using the Maytech 85A ESC with my AXI 4120/20 motors.
When everything is connected (transmitter, receiver, ESC) I get 6 beeps from the motor (6 cell battery) followed by 2 beeps (brake off) as it should be.
Everything should be ready to start by using one of the combination stick...
