a case just makes an even larger footprint in the truck...... for cases, we uses cases we can take to the airport and fly with, pelican 1690's........ my helis stand up on the landing gear in my truck and i tie them off so they can't fall over....... but even not tied down it sits fine.

no, i only use it to travel.... keeps my dogs off it, can take to the airport or whatever. The radios fits under that foam shown. 99% of the time my rig rides around loose on a seat in my truck...

i just drive around with them standing up..... only cases we use is pelican 1690 to fly with if it barely fits without a case, what makes another thing in there gonna make it fit better?

this was $60 from ebay.... pelican knock off, would have fit a f450 props on...... not a 550, but there are real pelican cases for $150-$200 us that fit it......

setup shows the yaw stick sending a command to yaw... the gyro doesn't even try to do anything with it when the craft is rotated running....
