It's possible when you arm the flight controller that all the motors will spin up slow. If u throttle up the machine will fly. If u don't throttle up it will cut off. Is your gimble a tilt axis?

Lights on your rig will help the most. Hobby king has cheap lights as well

HI Kloner and OOlo that does make sense... I was just surprised my rig flipped and felt like it was the FC trying to level off my rig. Kind of felt like the flip or problem might have been magnified by the machine being out of balance.

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion about how important balance is on a mutlicopter? I know on a model airplane its very important to have the balance correct in order to make the plane fly right. I have done some tests making the multicopter nose heavy or putting the weight to the back...

Wow sorry to hear about your experience . I had similar experience like that last year and I remember it was hard to go home with out the machine. I felt like I had lost a puppy and need to post lost signs around the area.

That footage looks nice. .. specially for not having a moving camera mount. Is that some kind if soft dampner between the layers where your cam mount is located? Which gopro you using?

I used both their motors and esc for the last couple of years and think they are hard to beat for the price.

That is horrible! I hate thieves ! Hope they got cut good. Wish you luck on getting it back. I think the multirotor world is pretty small so hopefully you will find it. I would consider going to local hobby shops and letting them know in case they go there to try and sell stuff.

What kind of FC are you using? The whole rig gonna be water proof or just the camera and gimbal?
