Yeah Ken I agree.. and I have a tub full of adapters .. guess now I am glad I have been saving them. Wonder if a quick fix might be to go to the hobby store and look for carbon shafts or maybe a kite store or archery shop and make your own adapters real quick if the heat shrink trick doesn't...

I have the Multi star motors from hobby king and they seem pretty nice but only been running 4 s I just ordered some new esc so I can run 6 si have been thinking about trying y6 do u have a link to the frame your gonna use?

That is pretty cool but what I find most impressive about that video is the guy with the camera shooting the video. In the reflection you can see him using a hand held video camera to shoot yet video looks like it was shot from a tripod (-;

Thanks guys so much for all the responses. I was leaning towards the throttle issue or ESC calibration, but I think I just learned something very important. Don't build at night after more then 4 beers. I usually can build a quad with in 4 beers, but this X 8 took some extra beer to build...
