    Wookong-M on a RC-Carbon 900 mm boom

Wow! that is fancy braiding. All that extra wire is going to add some weight, is their a reason you did the braid? I also would not have made it so big in diameter but it does lend well to being able to access the plugs. I would have made it just big enough to fit inside the 4 aluminum standoffs...

    Droidworx ADX-4 HLE

Now I'm super jealous! That video and your others of it flying on YouTube look great! If the BL's and distro board I have coming don't fix my wobble I know what frame I am ordering! I'd say that camera mount does a fairly good job with video. Thanks, Shawn

    Droidworx ADX-4 HLE

When you had this all hooked up were you able to verify that the I2c bus was good in kopter tools without the motors connected? Did it show I2C error? Thanks, Shawn

    Droidworx ADX-4 HLE

I love mine too! I thought about this rx a while back. I had a few questions about it but I don't think i ever got a response. I was wondering if you could have the PPM hooked up to the MK FC and then connect something like a camera trigger with a normal servo plug into the channel 9 slot...

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

Wow Bart! That looks great for all the troubles you've been having! I didn't notice any rolling shutter and stabilization even looks good which I'm sure you haven't taken the time to adjust yet. Congrats! Shawn Now only if I could get my X8 flying well :(

Am I right that's a Futaba transmitter? If so, what module and rx are you using?

    Droidworx ADX-4 HLE

Thanks for posting the additional info. Our setups are very similar, I am jealous yours is flying well. But happy for you! My frame is the same motor-to-motor as the ADX-4HL, pretty much the only difference between our setups is the batteries I am using - 2x 4s 6000mah. Looks great. Are you...

    Droidworx ADX-4 HLE

That was quick! Glad to hear it flies well but sorry to hear it is yawing in the wind. Hopefully just a matter of tuning. What FC are you using? and what batteries? It would be great if you could post the specifics of your setup. Thanks, SHawn

    Droidworx ADX-4 HLE

Real excited to see how this copter works out for you! What are you intended uses? Aerial photography or video or both? I have an RC-Carbon X8 that I have tried to use with standard esc's and an i2c-pwm converter and it is very twitchy no matter what amount of tweaking/tuning. Waiting on a...

DJI Flight Controller - pricey but impressive

I think you need to build another AD6 for the new board so you can launch one and park it and then launch the other and park it next to it so we can have a side-by-side comparison! :D:D Shawn

MK FPV Heavy-lift X8 using standard ESC's and Futaba TX/RX

thanks man, still banging my head against it. IT WILL FLY HOW I WANT! Waiting on some new anti-vib motor mounts from Sergey and ordering a new okto dristribution ring with 8 BL's. I know another guy who's pushing 7.4v to these and getting really great results. He has had them at that for a...

MK FPV Heavy-lift X8 using standard ESC's and Futaba TX/RX

How are they flying for you? It just seems so big. Do they have the same sort of small hubs that the 12x3.8 have? Shawn

    Time to try a Y6

I did come across this on the DW website: Engine Mount Fixing - 18/10/2010 There is a change coming in the next machining run of standard engine mounts and CF booms for all droidworx airframes - providing vertical position locking for securing the engine mounts on the booms for aligning...

    Time to try a Y6

Thanks for all your thoughts on round arms today guys. You inspired me to mount all my Pulso 2814/22's on my Y6 (formerly hexa) frame with 1/2" aluminum arms and Rusty's large motor mounts. I used 2x 13/16" alum standoffs at the outer edge with long screws through the motor x-mount holes (like...

Mikrokopter Parameter (mainly PID?) tuning for windy conditions and a min gas question

Bart, Yes ^. You have to adjust the endpoints on your TX for yaw, elv, and ail so that those k values are 0 at center stick and go to +/-125 at either end. For the throttle you just need to make sure it runs between +/- 125. Shawn

Mikrokopter Parameter (mainly PID?) tuning for windy conditions and a min gas question

Have not found a solution yet. It's all kind of on hold at the moment, unfortunately. Wish I could assist but it looks like other already are! Shawn

    Time to try a Y6

Your motor mount thoughts really have me thinking about a Rusty frame for heavy-lift X8. I placed one the Avroto's on the regular Rusty's motor mount today and you are definitely going to have to drill two new holes in each plate if you are positioning the standoff's at the outside edge. There...

    Time to try a Y6

Allright! Are you going to stick with the same motor mounts or use Rusty's large mounts? You should definitely try the regular ones first, I think they will be fine. I have the large X-mounts of his for my Y-6. You have to use them with the metal x-mount that comes with the motors unless you are...

    Time to try a Y6

+1! Especially since you say you don't have it all how you would like. Haven't made it to working on my Y6 conversion. Don't know if it will get done this weekend as I had hoped. Shawn
