Japp that could be. I remember my herks with 24 deg having biggest problems with the 14 x 4 JXF wooden props, there i noticed the power surges strongest 12 x 3.8 11 grams CF props very little and lately with the 11 x 5 Graupner I had nothing. Boris

Hi Antonio, looks like you are having similar problems like some others do with the M1 and M2 port. The funny thing though is that for those people it was with specific ESCs and they didnt have the issue with several different brands. Seem in your case that it really is an issue with the ESCs...

does the home locking acutally work in flight also ? So i can place the copter lets say over a church tower and lock it as home. Let the bird fly left and yaw it at the same same time thus flying circles around the church tower ?

Does this make sense gunther ? Course lock Home lock. No matter yawing or flying left or right the bird will always consider flying a forward command as flying away from your and a backwards command to come back home ?

Do I get this right we loose X2 though to this feature :( no more trimming of both gains inflight ? if i want to use the modes ? Home Lock needs GPS ? Corse lock dosent need GPS and can also be done in attitude comparable to MK care free ?

How many poles in the motor will not determine which timing or deg you need. There are other variables that play a role. It not really possible to determine from the beginning which timing/deg will be best. Best way is to stat with low timing. And consider the variabeles heat production motors...

curios what motor ESC setup do you have ? Did you try flying it manual does it also happen ?

Japp at the moment i am on the ground. But before i had no more issues. I never got arround testing mid DEG firmware that would have been next. Up again in a week and i will report. Finally have the CS gimbal tuned in nicely with picloc and looking forward to some vids with it
