Well done, I don't think I would be brave enough to fly that high! Not to mention that it's not allowed here in the UK...I think I would be too worried that I loose reception and it flies away!

Ken, does that mean it's not configured for an octo setup yet? Please could you post a few pics of the kit, mostly interested in what it looks like size wise in the airframe and what it consists of. The pics on their website don't show it in relation to anything else. Cheers, Gunter.

Thanks for the replies. My advantage is that I have a UK distributor (buildyourowndrone.co.uk) in my neighbourhood and he's always got spares - so anything I need is literally 1/2 mile away.

After updating the GoPro firmware, the video out should work a treat. Remember you also have to set it up on the camera as well. Scroll through the settings and make sure "video live feed" LFF is set to LFO (live feed on) Cheers Gunter.

Personally I think a lot of those vibrations are caused by wind and flying technique. I have found in the last year of making videos, the way you fly it makes a huge difference. You have to literally just tickle the controls ever so gently in the direction you want to move. Also, avoid flying...

Good to know you're okay and had the forethought to get those batteries charged! I do have a generator in my shed, but I'm afraid it's a bit far away to be of any good! Maybe see if you can buy a few 12v solar panels if you can't find a genny!
